Months prior to the Betrayal at Isstvan, the Emperor’s judgment had descended upon the Thousand Sons’ home world of Prospero in the first recorded open clash between Legions and the Talons of the Emperor. In defiance of the Emperor’s command, Magnus and his sons had been practicing forbidden psychic sorcery. A Censure Host comprised of the Legio Custodes, Silent Sisterhood, and the Space Wolves Legion vowed to wreak utter ruin upon Prospero. They were not prepared for what Magnus would unleash in return.
