The Leagues of Votann are a tightly knit clone species of resilient and pragmatic warriors who call themselves the Kin. New generations are fewer with every passing cycle, yet they rigidly trust this is the will of the Votann – ancient supercogitators hailed as nigh-supernatural fonts of wisdom. On their advice, the Kin mass into mighty oathbands, emerging from the galactic core and other territories to conquer, claim resources, and do battle with any who threaten their leagues.
